Founded in 1999, Catch Incorporated is a Washington company that has developed novel enzymatic assays for the measurement of homocysteine, a blood component that is a risk factor for cardiovascular and other diseases in humans.
Catch’s first generation kit was the first commercially successful enzymatic assay for homocysteine in human serum. The Catch assay’s novel recycling technology gives increased sensitivity over previous methods.
Catch’s second generation homocysteine kit is a two part liquid stable formulation with improved precision and calibration stability. It has dramatically increased calibration stability as well as being a true two-part reagent.
Today, Catch operates an ISO 13485/2003 manufacturing facility in Bothell Washington.
Catch has entered into agreements with a number of partners to distribute and manufacture the company’s homocysteine reagents worldwide.
